These works stem from journeys deep into my memory and from a trip I made in 2007 to some of the beautiful desert lands of the American South West. The land has an eternal quality to it, not just in its vastness, but in the energy and history it holds. There, I felt reconnected to the memories of the land simultaneously with my own, engendering an inner quality of being fully present in myself. For me, a profoundly moving experience.
